"An Orange Morning"

A beautiful red sun, rising through the rains of a New York suspension bridge,
It slowly rises above, and into the cotton candy skies...
The contrast between the 5AM Blue to the rest of the day sun.
Bring forth a beautiful reflection, on the early water channels
The East River, shines lightly, as the slow moving currents,
Drive past the ever so deep sun. The bridge stays grey and still.
Now the sun rising above, the grey island bridge,
With a slow moving river passing below,
As if the water is paced and the bridge a painting,
The most wonderful of sunrises continue
The sun shines brighter, reaching & treading through the clouds.
An orange sun has awoken, how long will it last?
Before the day takes over, A beautiful sunrise that no one will see,
Just me and my ever so yarning sun. my writers block begins...
The golden sun is now high in the sky, the 6AM trees are still,
The waves of the east river still hailing their beautiful reflection,
The Grey Island Heights are simmering with fog,
The Bridges are still grey, too early to see the blue.
In the Back alley of this beautiful New York Morning a man awakes to start collecting bottles
The sun is now barreling through the clouds, the day has awoken.
