I wake up in the morning,
Rush my way to the door,
Good energies soaring,
As I anticipate that score,
A job so rewarding,
I couldn't ask for more,
I stop off at the shul, to give my morning pray,
But first I get my redbull, or I might loose my way,
I look down at my phone,
Twenty notifications screaming my name,
Focusing on the uber app is like a complicated trivia game,
As I finally get to work,
Pop the lock & raise the gates,
A Russian man is waiting,
For his morning vodka fix,
That's my morning,
Technology first, or breakfast first,
That is the question,
Of my subconscious mind.
Rush my way to the door,
Good energies soaring,
As I anticipate that score,
A job so rewarding,
I couldn't ask for more,
I stop off at the shul, to give my morning pray,
But first I get my redbull, or I might loose my way,
I look down at my phone,
Twenty notifications screaming my name,
Focusing on the uber app is like a complicated trivia game,
As I finally get to work,

For his morning vodka fix,

Of my subconscious mind.
