Waves of Time (A Poem)

Waves crashing,

Tides turning,
Times changing.
People laughing,
People smiling,
As the sky says hello.

The times are changing,
As the sun sets over the Pacific,
A September moon rises,
It’s a smile from above.
As the tides begin to turn,
The ocean breathing,
A song of orange sunset.

The dolphins, the wales, and the seals on the shore;
Are all saying hello to the heavens above.
Pastors, Preachers & political speakers,
All have nothing on this beautiful sunset.
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but being here in the moment, would need every word ever written.
It’s a song of freedom,
Of beauty & wonder.
The clouds move over head,
The sound of childish play in the distance,
The rocks on the shore saying hello to the ocean,

It’s been a long day,
But a long and beautiful night is ahead.

Say hello to the new time,
Smile with Mother Earth,
And remember,
Let the waves of the future, crash beneath your feet,
Smile,
Breath in the moment,
And look into the horizon with amity & optimism...
