Mother Earth (A Poem)
For shallow men
For deep hearted women,
For the twists & turns,
Of the road unchosen,
For the deep sea creatures,
And the Sharks on the shores,
For the mountains of awe,
And the dune with no flaw,
For the tigress & her cubs,
For the lion & his pride,
As the clouds turn to grey,
The earth receives her prey,
Thunder & lightning,
Grey clouds billowing,
As if the mountains are talking,
And the valleys are listening,
A union forms between heaven & earth,
Much like a woman at home giving birth,
The occurrence so vast,
Yet suddenly in the past,
The spirit prevails,
Through the vines & the trees,
A baby is born, countless memories!
